Stop Minnesota’s Anti-Whistleblower Bill

Have you heard Big Agriculture’s latest move? They want to keep you in the dark. Remember those undercover photos and videos of animal abuse and environmental damage at factory farms? Under a proposed Minnesota law, broadcasting (and even possessing) these images would be a crime.

Last month, Florida’s state legislature passed a bill that attacks farm photographers and limits their activities. Then, a similar bill was introduced in Iowa. Now, it’s Minnesota’s turn. Minnesota Bill H.F. 1369 tries to silence opponents of agrocorporations, and it is currently making its way through the House.

Let’s stop this bill in Minnesota before it can spread to even more states. We'll deliver your comments to Rep. Rod Hamilton, sponsor of H.F. 1369.

Sign below to tell the Minnesota Legislature that they can't hide unsavory farming practices.

To Rep. Hamilton, sponsor for H.F. 1369:

Bill H.F. 1369 criminalizes the recording of images and video at agricultural operations done without the consent of the owner. Under these restrictions, publishing and even possessing these materials would be a crime. As concerned citizens, we call on the Minnesota legislature to uphold our constitutional rights to free speech and information. Whistleblowers are crucial to ensure that accountability is upheld. Vote No on H.F. 1369.

Sincerely,
